Welcome to Angela Bare

I started in 2013 after a serious accident which was to result in my foot been amputated it luckily got saved it took a year to learn to walk again. Set up my business through Facebook out of boredom of been bed bound. Why Angela Bare? I started with corsets in the first instance so the Bare comes from taking your clothes off. My first shop was Bridlington April 2014.

I come from a family background of shoe makers in Napoli italy in the 1950's boasting biggest manufacturers of shoes.

My former life I studied law. I have a degree in business and teaching. And I trained as a Legal Executive We currently carry 28 different brands of shoes, clothing, bags. Importing from all over the world to always bring something different and quirky to our stores Lockdown saw us close 2 stores in Glasgow and Windermere I decided to reevaluate and focus on my 2 local shops that were less travel obligations

We have seen a huge increase on our Facebook fan page during lockdown and if you were lucky to watch one of our lives you saw the real owner behind Angela Bare I also managed to have my own shoe brand produced its slightly quirky and almost Alice in Wonderland inspired I also did a tartan brouges collection due to, struggling wearing heels after my accident. 2022 we are adding some amazing new brands. Danielle Nicole. Yoshi bags, Menbur and we are just negotiating with an American brand tbc.

2022 will see my book being published about my business life and challenges through lockdown so keep an eye on our social media pages for the release date
