Wrexham University
Wrexham
Wrexham University is a bright, friendly, and inclusive learning community. We are focussed on inspiring you to aim higher and to achieve more, through the experiences and knowledge you will gain as you study with us.
We are ranked the number one university in England and Wales for social inclusion six years running (Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, 2024) and our students always comment on the community feel of our campuses, as studying here feels like home.
Investing in your future is a top priority, demonstrated by our £80 million campus project to improve all of our facilities and campuses. This ensures our current and future students have the best learning environment throughout their studies.
Our main campus, Plas Coch, is located on Mold Road in the heart of Wrexham next to the Racecourse Ground – the oldest international football stadium in the world. It is home to the University’s halls of residence, Wrexham Village, and is just a five-minute walk from Wrexham General Railway Station or a 10-minute walk from Wrexham town centre. We also have campuses in St Asaph and Northop which deliver Nursing degrees and Animal Science based courses respectively.
Wrexham University boasts modern social learning spaces as well as a library, and students’ union.
We have developed state-of-the-art subject-specific spaces including new science labs and our Colliers Park National Football Development Centre. Our Health Education & Innovation Quarter (HEIQ) includes a cutting-edge Healthcare Simulation Centre for hands-on, simulated, scenario-based learning.
