Beautiful 15th century pub nestled in the charming village of Penshurst with an English menu, open fires and a beer garden with country views.

Despite our tranquil and picturesque location, we are situated between the market town of Tonbridge (6.8 miles) and the spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells (5.7 miles).

We are proud of our chefs who devise and deliver our seasonal menus which are prepared with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. We also serve a traditional homecooked roast – with all the trimmings – every Sunday! In addition, we offer an array of local ales and fine wines, so you will be sure to find something to quench your thirst!

For those of you who love the outdoors, we are surrounded by some fabulous walking and hiking routes. So why not drop your car off in our spacious car park, perambulate at your leisure, and then treat yourself to some well-deserved refreshments back at The Spotted Dog?

When the sun is shining come join us in one of our two outdoor seating areas (located at the front and back of the pub). And on those cooler days, feel free to sit inside and appreciate the traditional beams, impressive open fireplace and other period features that make The Spotted Dog so special.
