Purple Valley Wool and Fabric Shop specialises in knitting, crochet, felting, embroidery, macramé, beading and sewing supply. We also offer a complete room filled with art and craft books for all hobbies. 

The brands of yarns we stock in our shop are the following: Stylecraft, Rico Design, West Yorkshire Spinners, Woolcraft, Jarol, Hayfield, James C. Brett, King Cole, Lilypond Yarns, Peak District Yarns, Opal and Katia. 

If you are a sock knitter, you will love the variety of our huge range of sock yarns. Our knitting needles and crochet hooks are from Knit Pro, Pony and Prym. 

Quilters will love the extended range of fabrics and fat quarters, Gütermann sewing threads, zips and the impressive selection of sewing supplies, for example the 6 metre of button displays (probably the largest button bar in the South West). A big part of our shop is embroidery, meaning, we stock all available cross-stitch brands (Anchor, DMC, Lanarte, Dimensions, Textile Heritage, Bothy Threads), aida by the metre and pre-packaged, and the DMC Mouline embroidery threads as well as tapestry canvas, kits and tapestry wool. If you love felting, you will love the felt kits from Corinne Lapierre and Trimits, we stock all of them. Of course you will find needle felting supplies as well as felt sheets and the according felting pattern books in our shop. Last but not least, if you like beading and jewellery making and look for affordable beading materials, we are the right address for you.
