A modern Welsh pub in the heart of Saundersfoot, serving locally sourced seasonal food, only a few footsteps away from the harbour front and beach.

Under new management since March 2021, we’ve worked tirelessly to build a pub that features the food we love to eat, in a modern, comfortable environment we love to be in.

Our philosophy was if we could create something we loved and if we could get the food spot on, then we’d continue the journey of the Royal Oak (which started in 1837) for a long time to come. We believe finding good food should be plain sailing. We use the best seasonal ingredients to create traditional dishes that are bursting with flavour. From the choice of meats to cheese, we try our best to source everything locally so you can enjoy the complete Welsh food experience. Fresh seafood, family favourites, small plates and specials, we like to think we have something for everyone. 

Food is served from 12pm to 8.45pm every day, except Tuesday, as every Tuesday we have lunch from 12pm – 2.30pm and Curry Club 5pm-8.30pm. We cater for little people too with colouring activities, baby change facilities and a Children's Menu which is available daily. As a family-run pub, we very much look forward to meeting you and yours!

Well-behaved, socialised and friendly dogs are welcome in our restaurant area Monday to Friday. They are also welcome in our Bar and on our Outside Dining Area & Bar 7 days a week, on a first come basis.
