Our Cadwaladers Ice Cream story began in 1927, where the Cadwaladers family made and sold their secret recipe vanilla ice cream, from the window of the Criccieth general store. Nowadays we make too much ice cream to make it in the shop window but it’s still made in Wales and the recipe is still a closely guarded secret made from locally produced ingredients with the same creamy and unique taste.

At Cadwaladers we believe that it’s important for our food to taste as good as it looks. We take to select the best of the best using locally sourced products. Warm up with our delicious freshly baked pizza or enjoy the crunch of a crisp toastie! We have a wide range of products available for everyone to enjoy. That's not all; our bespoke coffee, tea or hot chocolate won’t be found anywhere else! We serve the best hand crafted hot beverages with the same love and care as we do our ice cream. 

Our mission is quite simply to be the place customers come to relax, to enjoy time with friends and family or to have a meeting, read the paper or just have time alone.
