Our menus change with the seasons and whether ingredients are grown, reared or laid, our creative chefs have paired with farmers, fishermen and suppliers to ensure food is fresh, free range, exciting and sure to make you smile.

The hub of The Bear, our bar is a homely hangout with a warm welcome and a roaring fire when the nights draw in – a place to celebrate, recuperate or just be. We serve a selection of ales, ciders and hand picked wines, which pair beautifully with the nibbles from our dinner menu. Our expertly fashioned cocktails are especially popular between 5pm and 6pm, when locals and residents alike join to enjoy any cocktails for £6.

Our beautiful bedrooms are all individually designed and each one is as unique as the famous bears we’ve named them after. With super comfy beds, powerful rainfall showers and original features, each marries modern comfort with heritage charm.
