Sitting right in the middle of the beach with uninterrupted views of Lyme Bay lies the Longboat Café. With our sturdy parasol-topped benches along the grass verge, seating inside and adjacent to our café, we have plenty of room to offer a friendly welcome to walkers, cyclists, locals and visitors alike.

Wherever possible, we source our products from quality food producers in Devon. Our own local boat “Calypso” provides all of the crab and lobster to the café. The ice cream is “Farmer Tom’s” from Holsworthy and many of our cakes are handmade in Exmouth by Susie’s Devonshire Cakes or by our own staff. We offer a wide selection of delicious sandwiches, panini and bacon and sausage baps alongside Pints of Prawns and Scallop and Bacon Rolls. You can choose from a large range of coffees, teas and hot chocolates, with dairy and oatmilk alternatives, alongside juices and a variety of soft drinks.

We have outside seating available commanding an iconic view of the bay, magnificent in almost all weather conditions. We also have under cover seating in our adjacent courtyard with minimal seating inside. So come dressed for the weather and enjoy a warm welcome! We are happy to accommodate well behaved dogs and our courtyard is wheelchair accessible.
