Hotel Ellenby
Scarborough
The Hotel Ellenby is situated on the cliffs, overlooking Scarborough’s majestic North Bay.
The Grade II listed building was constructed in 1843 as two grand houses, becoming a hotel in 1946, still retaining much of the original character.
Our location is perfect, being only a 10 minute walk from Peasholm Park, Scarborough Castle, the Open Air Theatre and the town centre. Many great pubs and restaurants are very close by and we are happy to provide recommendations. And, of course, the beach is barely a ten minute stroll away.
We offer 11 en-suite bedrooms, many with sea views and traditionally furnished.
All rooms offer tea and coffee making facilities, USB sockets by the bed, an iron and ironing board.
We serve both continental and cooked breakfast, using locally sourced, quality produce. Our guest lounge has views across North Bay, as does our honesty bar.
We have accrued extensive knowledge of the local area, with information on the pubs, restaurants and attractions and are more than happy to provide information.
If you are looking for a relaxed place to get away from it all yet within easy reach of all that Scarborough has to offer then we feel this is the place for you.
