Situated in Lower Wensleydale to the west of the Vale of York, E.J. Churchill At The Swinton Estate enjoys some of the most picturesque countryside in North Yorkshire, with its narrow secluded tree lined valley, winding beck and wild flowers.

We have an expert team of instructors and caddies who are able to guide you round the shooting ground and take you through our extensive array of shooting stands and targets.

We have a number of disciplines available such as sporting, sportrtap and skeet as well as running monthly CPSA registered Competitions. The Young Guns Academy is a firm favourite for 9 – 18 year olds and runs during the school holidays. For the experienced shooters we have installed the Promatic Claymate system (pay & play) across the entire shooting ground, meaning you can shoot until you heart is content.

Whether you are a novice or an experienced shot, there really is something for everyone.

E.J. Churchill also have an unrivalled reputation for providing exciting creative and quality events tailored to suit our clients individual needs. From shooting events, simulated game days, multi-activity days to product launches and private parties there is no event to big or small.
