SALT is a micro-brewery on a mission to unify heritage and modern brewing. Our homeland, the UNESCO village of Saltaire was built by a super-progressive pioneer of worker’s rights in the 1800s. We adopt the same progressive spirit through our modern brewing styles. The inspiration of our forefathers can be seen in our name, throughout our brewery, and the textiles used to name our beers.

Winner of SIBA UK’s Best Independent Craft Brewery Taproom Award, 2020, the Taproom sits in the heart of the brewery, where visitors can enjoy SALT beers with the backdrop and theatre of the brewhouse around them. SALT Taproom includes 11 keg lines and 4 cask of the freshest SALT beer straight from the source, along with regular guest beers.

Salt Bar & Kitchen sits at the front of the tramshed building and offers a range of  SALT beers, real ales, artisan gin, premium wine, à la carte dining and live music. The Bar & Kitchen (previously The Hop) was rebranded in January 2019 and completes SALT Beer Factory. Between the Bar & Kitchen and Taproom we have something that caters for everyone!
