Manston Court Accommodations is a large, historic, grade 2 listed property situated on the edge of the village of Manston, and only 3 1/2 miles from several sandy, award winning beaches. It unusually shaped building includes 3 self-catering holiday properties that can be booked separately or all together, for a truly memorable holiday or special occasion.
Well Cottage gets it's name being a former well house with a 200 foot capped well in the kitchen. It is conveniently all on one level which is very popular with many guests. The triple aspect kitchen / sitting room / dining room is bright and airy and surprisingly spacious. Adjoining that is the bedroom which has lovely pale green panelling, a king size bed with a mattress topper for that extra comfort and lots of storage for all of those clothes! The ensuite off of the bedroom has been recently renovated and is now a pleasantly spacious room with a walk in shower, a toilet that looks more like a work of art, and a lovely mirror with surrounding lights. With the sofa bed in the sitting room it can sleep up to 4 guests. There is parking right next to the property.
Next to Well Cottage is Annie's Cottage. It's called that as Annie was the name of the servant who worked here many years ago and that's where she lived. Sadly no servants work here now, just me! Annie's Cottage is very characterful with lots of beams, flint walls, a large Inglenook fireplace and 3 foot thick walls in the kitchen and sitting room. The downstairs bathroom has a bath with a shower over the top which many guests have said they really enjoy. The useful part of the bathroom being on the ground floor, is that with the sofa bed in the sitting room on the ground floor and the bedroom being on the first floor, it makes sharing the property so much easier. There is also a single portable bed that can be placed in the bedroom so it is perfect for small families The characterful bedroom has a sloped ceiling and a walk in wardrobe, and the king size bed is said to be very comfortable. Annie's Cottage also has parking next to the property as well as an outside seating area the same as Well Cottage.
The Chapel is the largest of our properties and has 3 spacious bedrooms all with their own ensuite. With the new sofa bed in the master bedroom, the original sofa bed I the sitting room and the 3 additional portable beds which can be placed in the top bedrooms, it can now sleep up to 13 guests. The Chapel also has a 40 foot sitting room with a full size pool table, 4, three seater sofas and lots of seating in the sitting room making it a really sociable room. There is also a Wii and Xbox360 for guests to use as well as lots of games. The open plan kitchen on the first floor has a breakfast bar which seats up to 3 guests, so that the cook doesn't get left out of the fun. And the dining table is able to sit up to 12 guests comfortably. The utility room off of the kitchen has an additional toilet. You can't have tooooo many toilets or bathrooms! The master bedroom on the first floor has a high ceiling, a 4 poster bed and now, a new sofa-bed. The Chapel has it's own garden for alfresco dining or just chilling. There is also parking right outside the property as well as additional parking within the grounds of Manston Court.
Finally we do have another lovely feature, we have a resident white squirrel. He's definitely a boy as we also have 2 grey squirrels living in a drey nest in one of our trees, and one of the grey squirrels and the white one love to play chase with the third white squirrel!
