Opening dates each year will vary, please contact us for any queries. We recommend at least 3-4 hours for a visit. Free onsite parking is available. Well behaved dogs on a lead are permitted across the museum, including the display huts and a designated area in our café.

You can also check out our brand new Eco friendly Prisoner of War Exercise Compound suited to children 5-12 years. Watch from the guard tower, sneak through the escape tunnel or zoom down the slide; there are lots of obstacles to keep you fighting fit! And for the little ones, aged 5 and under, we’ve rebuilt our junior play area complete with a tunnel slide, assault course, basket swing and plenty of space to enjoy eating outdoors in the sunshine!
