West Bay Canoes - guided canoe river trips.

One of the best ways to spend a couple of hours with friends, family or even your dog on a sunny day is to take a canoe trip from West Bay to Bridport. Our stable traditional canoes can carry a couple of adults and a child or two. All of our trips delivered by a local paddle sports Instructor who will look after you whilst giving you top tips on how to move the canoe around the twists and turns of the 2km journey to Bridport. The river changes as you navigate upstream from a wide reed lined river to small twisting creek, which challenges and gives a real sense of adventure and exploration. You might even be lucky and see a blue flash of a kingfisher as the peaceful river is a haven for wildlife. We then return in the canoes to West Bay to eat ice cream. 

A list of open tours can be booked online at www.westbaycanoes.co.uk each 2 hour tour cost £15-25 per person. There is a limited number of trips available so book early to avoid disappointment. A base rate of three adults is set for a trip at £75 with a maximum of 14 people to one instructor.
