Inverness Cathedral
Inverness
The Cathedral is open each day from 9am to 4pm, where a warm welcome awaits you.
The Cathedral is a living and vibrant place, the congregation that worships here is drawn from across the local community and shares its fellowship with people from across the diocese and beyond. The doors of the Cathedral are open 365 days of the year and welcome many people from our congregations and visitors from around the world to both services, to find some space to reflect and to pray or to light a candle but also a place to enjoy the vision of both the Bishop and Architect.
We aim to offer a warm welcome, to create a place for creative and high quality worship which honours the traditions of the church which has been handed to us over the millenia and tells of the glory and wonder of God.
Café Ness is open 7 days a week from 9.00am to 4pm and is located in the grounds of the Cathedral. We provide a range of sandwiches and rolls, along with quirky wee specials, usually based around what’s in season near us, and harvests from our garden. Cake is always on the cards at the café, with everything being baked in house by our team. We also provide bespoke cakes to order, and takeaway afternoon teas!
