Beans Boat Trips
Hunstanton
When visiting North Norfolk, join us on one of our daily boat trips to see seals and birds in their natural habitat at Blakeney Point.
BEANS SEAL TRIPS have been a family run business for over 80 years and are a popular and safe way to enjoy a close up view of the wildlife - without disturbing it!
We run every day from March 1st to October 31st as well as regularly throughout the winter. We have to operate with the tide so departure times change daily - trip times are shown on our website.
The seal colony is made up of both common and grey seals and numbers and sightings vary from day to day. We guarantee you will see some seals, the question is how many?
The boats wind their way out of Morston Creek and into Blakeney Harbour we then head for the far Point to see the seals basking on the sandbanks (we don’t go out into the open sea). The knowledgeable crews are on hand to keep you informed and answer any questions. Here is also a great opportunity to take some photographs.
Depending on the tides, weather conditions and the time of year, we often land on Blakeney Point itself. This is an International Nature Reserve and breeding ground for many types of migrant birds.
Private charter and group bookings are welcome, discounts available!
We operate our orange and white boats from Morston Quay - these all comply with Maritime Coastguard Agency safety regulations and carry full safety equipment.
Booking is strongly advised - telephone us on 01263 740505, (we save your seats, you then pay as you collect your tickets on the day)
We are following current government guidelines relating to Covid 19 and have policies in place to keep us all as safe as possible (see website for details).
