Just 15 minutes from Dorchester, the Crawthorne Vineyard is located on a sheltered south-facing slope 90 metres above sea level in the Dorset AONB. 

We are the largest single estate vineyard and winery in the south west, with every stage of growing and production happening on-site.  Visitors can come to Langham to enjoy a guided tour and tasting, or just pop in for a glass of wine and lunch in our café.  All of our wines, along with books and wine accessories are sold in our on-site shop.  Throughout the summer season, we host weekly evening events with live music.  

Langham Wine Estate began in 2009 when Managing Director Justin Langham planted 30 acres of the classic champagne grape varieties - Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier - on his land at Crawthorne Farm.  In May 2022, due to increased demand for the wine, Langham Wine Estate planted another 45 acres (with a further 10 coming in 2023).  We are committed to creating exceptional quality, single estate wines.  Even with this expansion, every stage of production from grape to bottle will continue to take place on-site.  We follow a low-intervention style of winemaking and create a range of exceptional quality wines which consistently impress sommeliers, wine critics and judges alike. Our young, vibrant team is keen to experiment and push the boundaries in this exciting time for the UK wine industry.
