Ideally located in the centre of Buxton, the Railway is an outstanding food pub with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. As the name suggest, the pub is located close-by to the train station.

This large, open plan pub is beautifully furnished throughout and features a lovely beer garden not far from the railway arches. Popular with families, couples, friends and students, the Railway is one of the best pubs in Buxton – it really does cater for everyone, including your dog!

Our food pub serves a wide-ranging menu with pub classics, burgers, sandwiches and wraps, and a good choice of delicious vegan dishes. The kitchen is open from breakfast to late evening. At the bar you can get a very-well priced pint of cask ale, award-winning lager and craft beer, plus there’s a good choice of bottled beers, international wines and premium spirits. We’ve even got a terrific outside bar for when the sun is shining!
