Traditional service since the 17th century this small quintessential English Coaching Inn atop the White Peak area of the National Park with views across the Dales inspiring poetry with warming by a roasting fire on a snowy winter days to rambling in panoramic glory through every season.
Open everyday from 12 noon
Food available 12pm til 7.30pm Mon - Sat
Sun 12 til 6.30pm (booking advisable)
Stay in one of our nine modern comfortable en suite rooms and dine in the old pub.
Eat, drink and be merry with open fires, candlelight, wine and good food to refresh the mind and cheer your soul. We love and welcome dogs too.
We also now have a secure cycle shed perfect if you are coming on a cycling holiday as the Tissington and High Peak Trails are in close proximity.
Perfectly central to the Park giving visitors a great overnight stay or a holiday experience with friendly old fashioned service.
