The Ritz cinema in Burnham-on-Sea officially re-opened on Friday 24 September, 2004. After an extensive refurbishment. The cinema's original art deco fitting and decoration was also restored, splitting the existing screen into 2 new screens. complete with plush new seating and computerised booking system.
On Friday 23rd October 2015, following another major refurbishment, a third screen was added. Featuring the latest projection and sound equipment, and also featuring specialist new equipment designed to assist the hard of hearing and the visually impaired.

We do not allow people to bring in food and drink purchased from outside the Cinema as it is the sales at the kiosk that keeps the cinema running so if you value your cinema please support us on this.
