The Ship Inn is a cosy, whitewashed country pub with a beer garden, exposed stone interiors, open fire and live music. It's nestled in a beautiful square of cottages overlooking the beach at Low Newton.

The pub has it’s own micro-brewery right next door, providing pub-goers with a range of fresh beers. These are complemented by a wide selection of other alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and great coffee to ensure that every taste is catered for. The Ship offers simple and quick lunches using locally sourced ingredients, including toasties, kippers and fish cakes. As a treat, the crumble, if on the menu during your visit, comes highly recommended.

The pub’s location makes it perfect for combining with a walk on the beach either south towards Embleton and Dunstanburgh Castle, or north towards Beadnell.
